One of Washington’s most iconic, accessible, and wildly scenic mountain elopement locations

This place really is as jaw-dropping as it looks, but pulling off an elopement here takes more than just showing up. I help you plan a day that feels good, avoids the chaos, and lets you be fully present from start to finish.

Eloping at Artist Point will rewire your brain (in the best way)

Artist point is one of the most accessible mountain locations in Washington, which is exactly what makes it so unique.

You don’t have to commit to a long hike to stand in front of views like this. You can drive right up, step out, and be surrounded by distant peaks and ridgelines that take your breath away.

But that ease comes with its own challenges.

This isn’t the place to rush or squeeze into a tight timeline. Between quickly changing weather, limited parking, and crowds that come and go throughout the day, how you plan your time here can make a huge difference.

Most couples who elope at Artist Point aren’t looking for something over the top - they’re in search of something beautiful and intentional.

That might look like wandering the trails at sunset, finding a quiet moment away from the busy areas, or building a day that feels calm instead of hectic.

That’s where I come in!

I help you navigate everything from timing, locations, backup plans, and the tiny decisions that can make or break the day.

So you can focus on being together and enjoying your wedding day.

Because some places were made for your wedding day

Artist Point hits differently the second you arrive.

You drive winding roads with beautiful views everywhere you look, and suddenly… you’re at the trailhead.

The air is crisp and the mountains are standing tall in the distance, waiting for your arrival.

Why couples choose Artist Point:

  • Unforgettable mountain views with little to no hiking

  • Easy access for guests with mobility limitations

  • Space to wander off away from the crowds

  • A mix of convenience and adventure, all in one place

Eloping at Artist Point still takes intention.

Knowing how to navigate everything from parking passes to when alpenglow hits Mount Baker in the morning is what turns this from “a pretty spot” into a meaningful place for your wedding to unfold.

When it’s done right, it feels calm, expansive, and fully yours.

Why work with me at Artist Point

“I’ve never been somewhere as beautiful as this before!!”

That’s something I hear from couples and their guests while they’re exploring Artist Point.

Not because they don’t adventure, but because Artist Point truly is pure magic that you can’t experience anywhere else.

I can make that happen for you, too.

A few things to know about me

→ I have spent a lot of time at Artist Point.

For elopement days, yes. But also because I genuinely love being here ❤️
That local knowledge shapes how I help you plan your day.

→ I care a lot about how things feel.

If something unexpected causes stress, I will help brainstorm workarounds, even if it’s something I have not dealt with before.

→ I’m very Type A behind the scenes, and very chill on the elopement day itself.

That means timelines are dialed and backup plans already exist. AND you’re never aware of it unless you actually need to be.

→ Enjoying the experience comes first.

Everything I do supports that. From planning to problem-solving, how the day unfolds, the goal is always the same: for you to actually enjoy being there!

What to Know About Eloping at Artist Point

Logistics are crucial:

  • Timing changes everything
Sunrise and sunset feel completely different here, not just in the way the light hits, but in how busy it can get and how the space feels overall.

  • The main viewpoint is just the starting point
Most people gather a short walk from the parking area, but there are nearby trails that offer more space and better views!

  • Parking can fill up quickly
Especially on summer and fall weekends. Planning ahead for this makes a big difference.

  • Weather shifts fast and exposure is real
It’s open, windy, and a cloud can roll in without much warning, even on clear days

  • It’s ridiculously guest-friendly
If you want to include a few people without asking them to commit to a full hike, this is one of the best locations in Washington.

Things To Know (a must read!):

  • The road to Artist Point is only accessible by car from late June through mid-October

  • The parking lot is on the larger side, but completely fills most days

  • Sunrise is the best time to avoid large crowds

  • Cell service is very limited for the final ~45 minutes of the drive to the trailhead

  • Artist Point is in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and a permit to get married may be required

How couples often utilize Artist Point

  • A meaningful ceremony location with little to no hiking

  • A slower, more relaxed start or end to the day

  • Paired with another nearby location for variety

  • A full-day experience built around a longer hike

There’s no single way to do it!

The key is building a day that works with the location instead of creating friction.

How much time do we need a photographer for?

There are many factors that can play into how long you’d like to have a photographer around, and you’ll probably want more than you’d initially think!

All-day elopements

Trust me when I say all-day elopements are not about taking photos all day.

They’re about having enough time and space to:

  • Move at your own pace

  • Visit more than one meaningful location

  • Build in breaks, meals, or quiet moments

  • Let the day unfold naturally

With more time, things tend to feel a lot calmer, not busier (I promise).

Two-day elopements

For some couples, one day still feels like too much to pack in!

Two-day elopements are a beautiful option if you:

  • Want to explore locations or types of scenery that are far apart

  • Care about both sunrise and sunset

  • Want a guest-free adventure day to yourselves AND a ceremony day with all your favorite people

  • Do not want to feel physically or emotionally maxed out

Spreading things out makes the experience feel more grounded and less exhausting.

The big takeaway

This landscape asks you to slow down, wander, and take it all in.

Your elopement day can do the same 🫶🏻

Photos that feel like you

On your elopement day, I focus on the moments that feel natural and unguarded.

The instinctive hand squeeze.
The quiet looks shared.
The laughter that slips out when something unexpected happens.

You won’t be asked to act or perform for the camera. You won’t be rushed through a list of poses. I’ll be there to guide you when it’s helpful, then fade into the background so the day can move at its own pace.

What shows up in your gallery

  • Candid moments you did not realize were being photographed

  • A mix of wide mountain landscapes and small, intimate details

  • Images that reflect how the day actually felt, not how it was staged

  • The whole story of your elopement, including the in-betweens

  • Photos that still feel honest years from now

The end result:

Photos that hold the scale of the landscape and the quiet, human moments you shared within it.
