If y’all haven’t been to Discovery Park in Seattle or the West Point Lighthouse right at the tip of the park… WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!

This little slice of preserved forest is perfect for getting away from the city for a few minutes (or few hours, honestly), see the ocean, do a bit of hiking, and even wander around a lighthouse. So when Talissa suggested we do our session there, I was immediately on board.

Zinzi + Rolf | Olympic National Park Couple's Session at Marymere Falls

Get ready for this one, y’all. Zinzi and Rolf have some fiery passion that showed through in their photos and I couldn’t stop shooting! They expressed their interest in doing their session in the rain forest, but the quintessential Hoh Rainforest was closed while they were visiting Washington. So after a little scouting, we settled on the area around Marymere Falls and Lake Crescent, not far from Port Angeles. And let me tell you- it did NOT disappoint.

Autumn + Kenny | Columbia River Gorge engagement session

A few weeks ago I had my very first engagement session in the Columbia River Gorge right outside of Portland. Autumn and Kenny had just gotten engaged and were starting their wedding planning with none other than a photo session! They weren’t sure where to do the session, so I searched for an area along the river that would have a stellar sunset and came across Government Cove Peninsula not far from Cascade Locks. You GUYS. If I could pack up my life and move to this exact park and live there forever, I’d already be there. It blew away my expectations!!
