Today, I planned out a day of things for Rob and I to do together on his birthday. We've been together just 4 short months but he is easily my best friend and a wonderful boyfriend. We started out by eating a huge breakfast and lounging around my house. Our first stop after breakfast was Apple Berry Farms in Cross Plains. Raspberries have got to be one of the most wonderful foods in the universe.
Next, we headed to Devil's Lake to have a picnic on the beach and to hopefully swim. As soon as we got there, it started intermittently raining and we couldn't do much outside, so we moved our lunch into the shelter and got a seat by the window so we still had a great view.
Because our time at Devil's Lake got cut short, we had some extra time to head to the Wisconsin Dells and do some indoor things, so we went to an exploratory that had a lot of hands on science activities. We got to ride in a gyroscope where you spin in all directions for 90 seconds and got to ride a bike out on a wire up in the air (I only took phone pictures here!).
Our last stop was the Big Sky Drive-in movie theater right outside of the Dells. We got food, front row parking, and a warm car. Hercules was playing and though we both weren't super excited about the movie, it was still lovely time spent together.
