30 Washington Queer and LGBTQ+-Friendly Elopement Vendors (Updated for 2024!)

HEY, FRIEND. If you’re here, you’re probably looking for LGBTQ+-friendly and inclusive elopement vendors in Washington such as elopement florists, elopement planners, hair and makeup artists that cater specifically to elopements, caterer who will come to you for a private meal, videographers who specialize in elopements, and other elopement vendors. Right?!

Putting together a list of some of my favorite elopement vendors in the PNW that are 100% queer and LGBTQ+ friendly is incredibly important to me - I won’t refer any vendors that do not support queer folks, even if you’re not having a queer wedding. I’m dedicated to inclusivity and have vetted each of these vendors to also be inclusive, whether that means being queer-owned or a supportive ally. I’m talking queer representation on their website and socials and using gender-inclusive language. Because this shit is important!

Anyway, back to the vendors themselves! If you’re looking for a specific type of Washington elopement vendor, I have even more. We’re talking helicopter companies, jewelry, wedding attire, invitations, tour guides, and pretty much any type of vendor you need. Plus I’m part of a pretty solid network of elopement and wedding professionals that can always give me good recommendations, too.

Are you ready for this list?! LET’S DO THIS.

*Are you a PNW elopement vendor who would like to be added to this list? Email me and I’m happy to add ya!!

**Are you a PNW elopement vendor who doesn’t know how to show that you’re LGBTQ+-friendly but want to learn how? This blog post by my friends over at Equally Wed has a suuuuper comprehensive breakdown of where to start. GO!

Planners

Whether you want someone to plan every detail for you so you can remain hands-off, or work closely with a planner to create your perfect day, you’re going to benefit hugely from having one! Find someone you jive with and ask what is and what isn’t included in their services. I do help a ton with planning, but I cannot be a full-service planner! Which is why hiring one specifically for that job is a great idea.

Officiants

If you’re looking for someone to craft a meaningful and personal elopement ceremony, then look no further. These are some of my all time favorite officiants who I’ve seen bring couples from laughing hysterically all the way to tears. If you want to take the burden of writing an elopement ceremony off, hire an officiant!

Hair and Makeup

You might choose to do your own hair and makeup on your wedding day, or maybe you just want to treat yourself to a professional hair and makeup artist to make you feel amazing! Or if you’re like me, you don't know how to do most makeup things and want to hire someone to do it for you. Keeping your hair and makeup similar to what you’d wear on a date night or to dinner will probably make you look the most like *you*, so I’d recommend not going for something totally opposite your day-to-day look.

Florists

Ahhh, florals! They can make an already beautiful setup go from 10/10 to 1,000/10 in no time. Chat with your florist about colors, what’s in season, hearty plants that will withstand being outdoors all day, different arrangements you might need (bouquets, corsages, hairpieces, etc.), and let them do their thing!

Desserts

Think outside of the box here, folks!! Wedding cake could be your thing, but what if your favorite dessert is pie and ice cream? Or vegan cupcakes? Donuts are also a thing. Imagine what would be the best way to celebrate dinner with your boo thang, and then make it happen with your dessert vendor.

Catering

What if you hired a private chef to make a special meal just for the two of you after your ceremony? Or brought in a caterer to craft a huge charcuterie lunch for your guests? Or made you elopement day breakfast?! Honestly, this one is super fun and you can get as wild as you want. Everyone wants to eat yummy food on their wedding day!!

Videographers

Videographers have such a special place in my heart for a few reasons: they tell the story of your day in a different (but also the same?) way than I do as your photographer, they make your day feel like a movie (which you’re gonna love, believe me), and I always wind up getting creative with videographers so we both get the best shots!! Count me in.
